Like many small businesses, the client lacked a cohesive brand and image. She needed a simple, distinctive yet affordable logo, reproducible in black and white, that could be used on business cards and print materials.
We needed to avoid a cookie-cutter look and create something uniquely for her. Her name is her business name, therefore it had to represent her personally.
The final result, a calligraphic-style swoop is representative of a wave, highly abstracted. By incorporating her initials, we ensured that this represents her and her practice. The simple, clean lines are easily reproduced on any manner of items or sizes.
